After obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and my Master's
degree in Business with a concentration in Information Systems at the University of Buffalo, I was recruited to work for FSI, a fulfillment and freight forwarding operation by a supervisor I had previously interned with.
Moving Up
After two years working as a technical specialist at FSI, I moved into the management position in 1998. Two years later, UPS acquired FSI, and in 2002, after having helped UPS deploy our processes and software in companies across the northern border, I found my position no longer the challenge it had once been.
Onto the Next Chapter
At that point, I accepted a position as IT Manager of Speed Global Services, where I had an instrumental role in transitioning Speed Transportation from a local trucking and warehouse company into Speed Global Services, a Global Logistics Management Specialist.
Moving on, shifting my focus to process improvement & analytics
In February of 2012, I joined Calspan, an independent engineering and testing facility serving the aerospace, automotive and defense industries, as a Database Consultant in their Crash Data Research Center, where I would act as an Internal Consultant on Process Improvement. As such, I would be responsible for establishing new processes, developing applications to support and monitor those processes, and providing the management team with the right metrics and reports in order to improve planning and decision making. It was quickly realized that my combined technical and creative skills could provide useful outside of my business unit. I was promoted to Senior Analyst, where in addition to my responsibilities in the Crash Data Research Center, I would also be responsible for supporting Finance and Business Development initiatives, as well as assisting in projects for other business units at Calspan.

In 2018, I joined Calspan's Finance Team as they worked to implement a new ERP System. I have continued to advance my career at Calspan, specializing in Financial Reporting, Application Support, Process Development, Government Contracting & Indirect Rates, Annual Budget Management, and Data Analysis.
The organization has gone through many changes over my tenure, and I am proud to have contributed to the growth and success that Calspan has achieved.
